Beilun to promote cyclic development by ten key projects

In 2014, to promote cyclic development, Beilun District will make great efforts to promote 10 circular economy projects.

The ten circular economy projects are: the renovation project of the power generation unit 5 of Beilun Power Plant, the Wind Power Plant of Fuquan Mountian, the 2nd phase of the recycled water plant, the waste water reclamation project of Ningbo Shenzhou Textile Co., Ltd., the technological renovation project of the back pressure unit 2 and the 40-MW photovoltaic power project of Ningbo Asia Paper Company, the technological renovation project of sludge incineration facilities of Ningbo Asia Paper Company, the LNG project of China National Offshore Oil Corporation, the solid wastes treatment project of Ningbo Steel Plant and the combined heat and power generation of Ningbo Thermal Power Co., Ltd.

Ningbo Hangzhou Bay New Area published emergency plan for severe air pollution

To handle severe air pollution and ensure the health of the public, on February 19, the Administrative Committee of Ningbo Hangzhou Bay New Area published the Emergency Plan for Severe Air Pollution". According to related rules of the environment department, the reality of the area, the plan gives definitions of three grades of air pollution named the yellow, the orange and the red. When the daily average value of API in the next day is between 201-300, the 3rd pre-warning shall be made. The 2nd pre-warning shall be made when the daily average value of API in the next day is between 301-400. The 1st pre-warning shall be made when the daily average value of API in the next day is above 401.

Ningbo to increase net per capital income of farmers by 11%

According to a meeting on the unified development of the city and the countryside, this year, the added value of agriculture should increase by 3% the net per capital income of farmers should increase by 11%, the gap of income of urban and rural citizens should be further narrowed, and Ningbo should be in the front rank of Zhejiang in the integrated development of the city and the countryside.

The meeting specifies six targets for land transfer, transformation of agricultural development and water conservancy projects. The city will increase transferred land by at least 20,000 mu, increase at least 10 municipal-level leading agricultural enterprises, and start 40 modern agricultural parks. The target for grain is 750,000 tons and 100,000 mu of standard grain production zones shall built. This year, the city will start sewage water treatment programs in 510 villages, and complete investment of 8 billion yuan in water conservancy projects. The city will construct 10 advanced towns for the "happy and beautiful homes" program, 35 well-off villages, start the construction of 20 municipal-level central villages, 25 villages with distinct features, and 8 choice tourist routes. At least 30,000 rural families shall have their housed rebuilt and 50 villages in under-developed areas shall be improved.

In order to speed up the equal public services for urban and rural citizens, the city will further improve the traffic network, the water network, and environment protection network, the ecological network and the social security network. It will build 120 inter-linked roads in rural areas, treat the water environment for 40 villages and built 200 kilometers of ecological waterways.

Daxie to invest 10 billion yuan in 59 projects

The first phase of the oil storage project of Xinhai Company was put into use. …On February 22, the Administrative Committee of Daxie Development Zone announced that in 2014 the 59 construction projects have been planed, including 34 new projects, and that in 2014, 10.56 billion yuan out of 28.05 billion yuan will be invested.

In 2013, the GDP of Daxie amounted 18.41 billion yuan, increased by 8.3% year on year. The investment in the fixed assets reached 4.6 billion yuan, increased by 26%, above the average increase rate of the city. The year 2014 is a critical year for the "3 and 5 year action plan". According to the guideline of the industrial development, Daxie is going to implement a number of key industrial projects, including 12 projects in industries, and the investment should add up to 8.386 billion yuan, covering about 80% of the total investment planned. 6 warehousing project will be started, and 435 million yuan of investment shall be completed.
