E-commerce talent training starts

On March 31, a special training on speeding up the e-commerce development was started in the Party School of Ningbo Municipal Party Committee.

In early 2014, Ningbo Government issued the proposal on promoting the development of e-commerce. According to the proposal, e-commerce is an important strategic emerging industry and the mainstay industry of the urban economy in Ningbo, and a multi-level training project will be carried out. It points out that by 2017, over 500,000 citizens in Ningbo will have learned basic e-commerce knowledge and 30,000 e-commerce professionals will have received training, including 200 senior professional e-commerce managers. This session of the training, jointly sponsored by the Organization Department of Ningbo Municipal Party Committee, Ningbo Trade Bureau and the Party School of Ningbo Municipal Party Committee, marks the official launching of the e-commerce training project.

 Content : Chinese Lesson, Chinese Game , Chinese Poem and Song, Handicraft, etc.

Kids’club Spring Camp

Date: 1 week, 5 days April 28th—May 2^nd

Time: 9:00-12:00, Monday to Friday

Class size: Maximum 8 students in one class

Class type: 4-8years old

         9-12years old

Content: We will offer two hours Chinese study and one hour culture event every day. ( snacks and fruit are supplied)

Ningbo plans to set up an international high school

The city currently has seven international curriculum classes, but it doesn’t have any international high school. The pattern will be upset in the latter half of the year. The first independent Sino-foreign cooperative school of Ningbo, Kent School, has got approval for its establishment and will enroll students in this fall semester. This is the first foreign cooperative high school which gets the approval of the establishment in Zhejiang Province.

According to reports, Ningbo Kent School will be co-founded by Kent, Ontario, Canada and Zhenhai Middle School (which already has "Cambridge international curriculum experimental class"). It is also a major achievement in promoting Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools after Ningbo has become a pilot area of international cooperation in high-school education.

The Kent School is a full boarding school. It has three-year system, with small-size classes. It is also a bilingual school and adopts the credit system. The school plans to enroll 700 students who are in 24 classes. The school, which is based in Ningbo and facing the surrounding areas, will mainly enroll students that are willing to go abroad for exchange and some international students in China.

The school will introduce North American (U.S., Canada) official certification and standards of education quality evaluation system. It’ll also set up a scientific and rational 10 to 12 grade curriculum, which is related to North American. According to the requirements of deepening reform of high school curriculum in Zhejiang, the school will offer some core courses of Chinese high-school curriculum.
