Cooperative education projects bloom in Ningbo

It is learned from the provincial experience exchange meeting held in Ningbo for promoting international communication and cooperation at the level of primary and secondary schools that there are so far 39 sino-foreign cooperative educational projects in Ningbo, accounting for one third of the total in Zhejiang Province.

Currently, Ningbo has signed educational cooperative agreements with Washington D.C. of US, Auckland of New Zealand, the New South Wales of Australia, Varna of Bulgaria, and Hong Kong VTC, etc. Schools at all levels have established partnerships with over 500 educational institutions worldwide. 383 of all the 700 primary and secondary schools in Ningbo have found sister schools with foreign counterparts.

Ningbo E-commerce Incubation Base opened

On the afternoon of March 18th, Ningbo E-commerce Incubation Base opened in Jiangbei. Enterprises in the base can enjoy a rent-free policy for two years. Up to now, 15 enterprises like Runningguide, Environment, and Lechao Trade have settled in the base. 
The incubation base will also expand to an area of 17000 thousand square meters, which will be used to build a Ningbo Post Cross-border E-commerce Demonstration Park with Ningbo Post. On the afternoon of March 18, the park held a signature ceremony. 

Enterprises attend graduate recruitment fair

The first comprehensive recruitment fair for the graduates came to a successful conclusion recently, attracting a large number of enterprises with demands for talents in Jiangdong District. 83 enterprises from the district offered over 1100 posts, covering such industries as e-commerce, machinery and electronic manufacturing, export, shipping & logistics, FMCG chains, cultural creativity and education & training.

To help the docking between enterprises and talents, Jiangdong Human Resources and Social Security Bureau counted the initial talent demands of the enterprises before the Spring Festival holiday and encouraged them to attend the fair, guaranteeing the recruitment efficiency. At the fair, many of the enterprises were well received with people lining up before their booths for application. The HRs made every endeavor to attract the new graduates, and made patient explanation and reply for their questions concerning working conditions and room for growth.  

Reportedly, over 6000 graduates were attracted to the pavilion for enterprises from Jiangdong District and 1800 CVs were received. According to the sample feedback investigation made by Jiangdong Talent Market Administration Office, 80% of the enterprises are satisfied with the recruitment effect of the fair. Specifically speaking, the post of financial personnel of the Yunsheng Group received most applications, and the posts of R&D personnel and assistant of Ningbo Ruinuo Electric got a job competition ratio of 5:1. The Ningbo branch of Shenzhen Yilan Net Co. Ltd. has completed its recruitment task and the employed talents are undergoing training procedures.

As a comprehensive recruitment event for graduates, the fair serves as a bridge between graduates and employers and greatly reduces the enterprises' searching costs for talents. A recruitment fair for e-commerce talents will be held at Hall No.7 of Ningbo International Conference and Exhibition Center on March 21, attracting about 150 enterprises from Jiangdong District to recruit e-commercial specialist talents and talents in such e-commerce-related fields as customer service, art design, product promotion and operating.

Ningbo will train over 10,000 E-commerce talents

In order to solve the shortage problem of E-commerce talents, the Municipal Education Bureau will initiate a special training program for graduating students. According to the Education Bureau, the students recruitment has begun for the first 13 classes in 8 pilot schools. In addition, Ningbo will also set up a E-commerce School, which plans to train over 10000 students by the end of 2016.
After the holiday, many enterprises has begun their recruitment. It is learned that many traditional businesses and micro and small-sized enterprises has included E-commerce talents in their recruitment plan. According to the "needed talent index" released recently, E-commerce operating manager, including executives of art designing, IT, store operation, data analysis, marketing, are all needed vacancies. 
Under this background, the Municipal Education Bureau decided to initiate the targeted training program.
It is reported that the training will have close cooperation with the industry, and most of the trainees are E-business related students. Following the principle of "starting with pilot sites and popularize gradually", 13 classes have been set in 8 schools like Zhejiang Industrial and Commercial Vocational Technical Institution and Ningbo City Vocational Technical Institution, which will be financially supported by the Special E-commerce fund.  
Up to now, the recruitment has begun. The enrollment candidates are graduating students majoring in E-commerce, management, finance, logistics and English. According to the market demand, there are training courses like cross-border trade and E-commerce operating. Meanwhile, in combination with the local feature, there are also training courses like fresh food, garment, and medication. 
As planned, Ningbo will build a multi-level E-commerce talent training system including secondary vocational education, higher vocational education, undergraduate education, and social training. Besides, Ningbo will also establish a E-commerce production-study-research alliance, which will integrate the education resources at all levels to set up an E-commerce institution. 

Haishu district collaborates with two universities for autism research & education

In order to develop a set of curriculum system for China’s autistic children, Haishu Education Bureau has signed a research agreement with University of Tsukuba on March 2. Taking Ningbo Damin School as a sample, both parties will deeply study China’s education mode for autistic children.

The research period starts from April 1, 2015 and ends on March 31, 2018. Both parties will study to develop a set of curriculum for China’s autistic children, monitor the influence of the curriculum system on special schools as well as on kindergartens, primary schools and junior high schools. They will focus mainly on researching Chinese education mode for autistic children.(also known as Haishu’s education mode for autistic children) It is learned that the collaborative results will be displayed by means of publishing books as well as exchanging experience and hosting achievement conferences on international academic forums to make them pervasive and applicable both at home and abroad.
