China-CEEC Youth Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center to be built

It is learned from Jiangbei District that as an important measure of the demonstration zone for Ningbo-CEEC 16+1 economic and trade cooperation, the China-CEEC Youth Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center will be built at the Old Bund area to attract distinguished talents from the CEEC countries to start up new businesses or providing services for local businesses. Upon careful examination, a dozen of enterprises have signed agreements to settle down at the center in June.

In April this year, Jiangbei District Bureau of Commerce started the construction fo the center with the cooperation of the Great Tao E-commerce Corporation. Located at the administration building of the Old Bund Bus Stop on the Zhongma Street, the center has attracted over 90 businesses for settlement, more than half of which are founded by the young entrepreneurs from the "Belt & Road" countries.

Ningbo Museum attends museum education expo in Shanghai

The first Museum Education Expo of the Yangtze River Delta Area was held recently at the Shanghai World Expo Museum, attracting 36 museums from Jiangsu Province, Zhejiang Province, Anhui Province and Shanghai to exhibit their distinguished educational programs and related products, and Ningbo Museum was invited to the expo among others.

During the expo period, Ningbo Museum displayed its achievements in the social education field since its foundation 10 years ago, including the published educational books, distinguished educational activities, and the exquisite educational products it developed. 9 Top Universities to Tap Technology Market in Ningbo

Recently, officials from 9 top universities--Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), Northwestern Polytechnical University and Beijing Institute of Technology--gathered at HIT’s incubation base at Ningbo to exchange views on establishing a coordinated innovation platform. Experts discussed about how to develop a private technology market that radiates to the Yangtze River Delta in Ningbo, thereby achieving the commercialization of research outcomes.

The nine institutions of higher education are directly subordinate to Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the PRC and Ministry of Education of the PRC, including other six members as Chongqing University, Dalian University of Technology, Southeast University, South China University of Technology, Tianjin University and Tongji University.

Cooperation between Intelligent Manufacturing of Jiangbei and Beihang University

On the afternoon of May 12th, the Intelligent Manufacturing Innovation Forum of the Yangtze River Delta Region was held in Jiangbei. A large number of experts and entrepreneurs gathered here to share their views about the new smart manufacturing industry, such as Zhong Qunpeng, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Shen Liping, former deputy chief designer of China’s manned space project, and other alumni members of the Beihang University.

On January 14th this year, Ningbo and Beihang University signed a strategic cooperation agreement. On March 20th, another Innovation Research Institute Co-construction Agreement was signed. Based on the same interests, Ningbo, the first “China Made 2025” pilot demonstration city, will cooperate with Beihang University in the fields of aerospace and other smart manufacturing.

First CLC institute of lifelong learning established in Ningbo

The first lifelong learning institute for rural community learning center (CLC) in China was announced to settle down in Ningbo at the seminar on rural adult education & "Belt and Road" construction, as well as the agreement-signing ceremony of the institute. Approved by the Representative Office of UNESCO in China and China National Commission for UNESCO, the institute is the extension and development of the "construction of rural community learning center" implemented in Asian and Pacific countries since 1998 by the UNESCO. 

As is reported, the institute is jointly built by Ningbo Education Bureau and Chinese Adult Education Association, and will be coordinated and management by Ningbo Adult Education College. According to the agreement, based on their related resources, the co-builders of the institute will introduce the advanced concepts for rural education in the world,
