25th Fashion Festival will kick off on October 21st

The 2021 Ningbo Fashion Festival and the 25th Ningbo International Fashion Festival will be held in Ningbo from October 21st to 24th.  

The event is co-sponsored by China National Textile and Apparel Council, Ningbo Municipal People’s Government, Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economics and Information Technology, and hosted by Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Economics and Information Technology. Focusing on serving the fashion industry, with market expansion, fashion leadership, intelligent manufacturing support, and supply chain optimization as the service direction, the festival will organize 20 activities like fashion exhibitions, economic and trade forums, digital fashion festivals, fashion events, consumer experience, international cooperation, and fashion sharing.

IFAM (International Forum on Advanced Material) convened

On October 17, the opening ceremony of IFAM 2021 (International Forum on Advanced Materials and 2021 China (Ningbo) International Forum on New Materials and Industrialization was held in Ningbo. A total of more than 1,500 people, including nearly 30 academicians in domestic materials and related fields, more than 400 well-known materials experts, more than 1,100 scholars in materials and related fields, and industry representatives, gathered to discuss and exchange the frontier development and research results in the new materials field.

Former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Academician Xu Nanping of Nanjing University of Technology, Academician Chen Jianfeng, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Secretary-General of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Academician Xue Qunji of the Ningbo Institute of Materials of the Chinese Academy of Sciences attended the meeting.

"Phoenix Action" launches new plan

ecently, the "Phoenix Action" launched its new plan：200 companies will be listed at home or abroad by the end of 2025, including 20 newly listed companies on the Science and Technology Innovation Board; the total market value of listed companies exceeds RMB3 trillion, the total market value of domestic listed companies ranks among the top ten in the country.

According to relevant implementation opinions issued by Ningbo, during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the "Phoenix Action" Ningbo plan will be implemented to promote the doubling of capital market entities, the quality improvement of listed companies, the fusion and sublimation of intermediaries, and the improvement of financial ecological quality, and strive for the doubling of the number and total market value of listed companies this year.

The plan will continue to promote the "Ningbo sector" of the capital market to strive for the advanced position.

Ningbo Was Selected as a National Service-oriented Manufacturing Demonstration City

Yesterday, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology ended the announcement of the third batch of service-oriented manufacturing demonstration lists. In this list, there are 5 Ningbo enterprises shortlisted. Relying on continuously exploring new development models and guiding manufacturing enterprises to accelerate the expansion and upgrading of service-oriented manufacturing, Ningbo has been successfully selected as a national-level service-oriented manufacturing demonstration city.

Service-oriented manufacturing is a new type of industry that integrates manufacturing and service. With the accelerated reconstruction of the global industrial chain and supply chain, how to guide enterprises to expand from processing and assembling to "manufacturing + service" and from simply selling products to "product + service" is the extension of enterprises to the high-end of the industrial chain. An important starting point is also an important way for Ningbo to move from a big manufacturing city to a strong manufacturing city and achieve high-quality development.
