Meeting of Fengdu-Changjiang River Delta Cooperation opened in Ningbo

The other day, the Meeting of Fengdu-Changjiang River Delta Cooperation opened in Ningbo. Over 200 officials and entrepreneurs from Ningbo and Fengdu City of Chongqing attended the meeting.

Fengdu City of Chongqing is on the upper stream of the Changjiang River, as one of the important counties of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone. On the Changjiang River, the county is characteristic for its traffic conditions. It has 47 km of golden waterway of the Changjiang River and its planned port handling capacity is 1/5 of Chongqing.

At the meeting, 8 agreements were signed, with the investment totaling about 5.89 billion yuan. Of the projects signed, the automobile trade city, a project with the investment totaling 720 million yuan, is invested by Ningbo Zhongchuan Electromechanical Equipment Company. The 8 projects are estimated to have their annual sales value totaling 8.11 billion yuan, and the annual tax reaching 350 million yuan, creating 3,300 jobs. These projects involve new industries, agriculture, tourism and trade.

Ningbo passed acceptance check of grain functional areas

The standardized construction project of 14,000 mu of grain production functional area has recently passed the acceptance check by Ningbo Municipal Agricultural Bureau and Ningbo Financial Bureau. This is the first grain production functional area in Ningbo that has passed the check. This year, Ningbo started the standardized construction project of 14,000 mu of grain production functional area in Jiangkou and Xiwu. With an investment of 14 million yuan, over 160 cement irrigation channels were built, totaling 31,329 meters; 74 drainage ditches were built, totaling 28,896 meters; 14 ploughing roads were built, totaling 8,670 meters; the underground pipes of 3,700 meters were built. All these facilities notably improved the production of agriculture. This year, the late rice had a good harvest in the newly built grain production functional area. The per-mu yield reaches 480 kg. The per-mu yield of single cropping late rice is above 70 kg, 50 kg over the yield of regular fields.

Cixi Juexi Industrial Park entitled Domo Park of Circular Industrial Economy

At the meeting recently held on circular industrial economy of Zhejiang, Cixi Juexi Industrial Park was honored as Zhejiang Provincial Demonstrative Park of Circular Economy, the only industrial park in Ningbo that got the honor.

Juexi Industrial Park is one of the four largest industrial parks of Cixi County, and it consists of three parts: the eastern park, Juying Textile Park and Beitang Textile Park. The area designed for the area amounts to 10 sq km. At present, the park has over 500 industrial parks of various kinds, about 430 textile enterprises, including 60 enterprises whose capital each is over 20 million yuan, and 13 ones whose sales value each is over 1.3 billion yuan. The park has 54 enterprises with the power of independent export. The park is industrial economy oriented and features for its knit and clothes manufacturing. In 2011, the total industrial output value reached 10 billion yuan, the profit 160 million yuan, and the tax 210 million yuan.

In recent years, the annual industrial wastes discharged reached 54,702 tons. of which 53,881 tons were comprehensively circulated, with the circular rate reaching 98.5%. The recycle rate of industrial waste water is over 60%, the water consumption per 10,000 yuan of production output dropped by 6%, and the water consumption per 10,000 yuan of added value of industrial output dropped by 9.4%.
