Ningbo to Build 4 General Aviation Aerodromes

According to the overall planning of general aviation aerodromes in Zhejiang, the general aviation aerodromes can be classified into three cateogories: 
The first refers to these aerodromes whose seating capacity is between 10 and 29 or handling capacity is over 3000 sorties.
The second refers to those aerodromes whose seating capacity is between 5 and 9 or handling capacity is between 600 and 3000 sorties.
The third are to the exclusive of the above two classes. They are primarily used seasonally or used as the temporary heliport or air harbor for the helicopters and seaplanes.
5 general aviation aerodromes will be built in Ningbo according to the overall planning , among which Ningbo Lishe International Airport will build and improve the site and facilities for general aviation to provide services for large-size corporate aircraft.
In addition, the other 4 general aviation aerodromes will be built in Ninghai, Cixi, Xiangshan and Meishan (Beilun) respectively.
Ninghai General Aviation Aerodrome belongs to the first class which is used as emergency rescue base in sea.
The general aviation aerodromes in Cixi, Xiangshan and Meishan(Beilun) belongs to the second class. These three aerodromes will not only provide refuel service for flights aiming at industrial & agricultural production, tourism resources development, aviation education training and emergency rescue but will also target at the development of aviation industry and tourism. Moreover, they will also function as the base airport of the helicopters and the seaplanes. 
Meanwhile, as for those cities which are not equipped with transport airports, the first class general aviation aerodromes or the second class general aviation aerodromes, they can consider building a third class general aviation aerodromes.
The planning also gives clear suggestions for the cities in Zhejiang to make them have a better understanding of the classes of the general aviation aerodromes. For example, the general aviation aerodromes in Hangzhou and Ningbo should be mainly used to provide services for large-size corporate aircrafts and should strive to be the safeguard base for high-end corporate aircraft.
The general aviation will become part of the daily life for most people. For the general public, the general aviation shall be a better choice for travel in the future.

Dongqian Lake Listed as National Leisure Resort

It is learned from China National Tourism Administration on October 9 that Dongqian Lake was successfully listed in the first batch of National Tourism Leisure Resort with other 16 tourist resorts. 
In 2008, the Administrative Committee of Dongqian Lake Tourist Resort put forward a goal to turn itself into “One Resort and Three Bases”. One Resort refers to national tourism leisure resort and three bases are famous leisure base in the Yangtze River Delta, important international conference base in east China and international high-end economic headquarter base. Since August 2009, Dongqian Lake Tourist Resort has fully achieved the leapfrog development of leisure tourism industry by catching the opportunity of participating in making new standards of national tourism leisure resorts. In the first half of 2015, China National Tourism Administration formally issued the notice of selecting National Tourism Leisure Resort. The preparations for applying for title of the Resort entered the home stretch.
The China National Tourism Administration received more than 60 applications. Experts eventually selected 17 tourist resorts after referring to the new standards of National Tourism Leisure Resorts, on-site inspection and hearing work reports from tourist resorts.
Peng Decheng, director of Planning and Finance Bureau of China National Tourism Administration said on October 9 that the National Tourism Administration are striving to make the National Tourism Leisure Resort a new card for our tourism leisure industry and make it another gold brand apart from the 5A level scenic spots in tourism industry.
The other 16 National Tourism Leisure Resorts are Changbai Mountain in Jilin Province, Tangshan Hot Springs in Jiangsu Province, Tianmu Lake in Jiangsu Province, Yangchenghu Peninsula in Jiangsu Province, Taihu Lake in Zhejiang Province, Xianghu Lake in Zhejiang Province, Phoenix Island in Shandong Province, Haiyang in Shandong Province, Yaoshan Hot Springs in Henan Province, Wudang Tai Chi Lake in Hubei Province, Huitang Hot Springs in Hunan Province, Eastern Overseas Chinese town in Guangdong Province, Xiannvshan Mountain in Chongqing, Qionghai Lake in Sichuan Province, Yangzonghai Lake in Yunnan Province and Xishuangbanna in Yunnan Province. 
During the National Day, Dongqian Lake Tourist Resort received a total of 300,000 tourist arrivals, half of which were leisure trips around the lake. 
In recent years, Dongqian Lake Tourist Resort has strengthened its ecological protection. Dongqian Lake Tourist Resort has become more attractive, especially the 45- kilometer shoreline, attracting numerous tourists.

Ningbo ushers in home appliance updating era

It is learned from some home appliance shopping malls that during the National Day holiday, the home appliances witnessed rise of sales as the citizens' updating needs pick up.
"My fridge has been in use for seven or eight years, and it seems that there is some odor, so I want to get a new double-door fridge." said a Mr. Zhang at a home appliance store in West Zhongshan Road. According to Li Na, who is in charge of the Ningbo branch of Suning Appliance, the biggest feature of this year's home appliance market is the need for home appliance upgrading. As the major products, the TV sets, fridges and communications products have witnessed increasing sales volume with the promotion of energy and function upgrading. The inverter air conditioners (1.5P or above), the large-screen (50 inches or above) 3D smart TV sets, large-content fridges with no less than three doors, large-load front loading washing machines and the high-end smart mobile phones as well as the contract phones with network operators are the most popular products. 
According to experts, the convenient and user-friendly design is a major reason for the popularity of those new-generation products. For example, the traditional two-door or three-door fridges will be replaced by the new double-door and multi-door fridges as they can avoid the odor-mixing problems. And the traditional top-loading washing machines will be replaced by the more convenient front-loading ones.

Old Bund to be built as cultural fashion block

During the National Day holiday, a series of evening cultural activities drew a lot of citizens to the Old Bund. The "24-hour bookstore", converted from a container, provided the tourists with books, the World Movie Area showed open-air movies twice a week, and the handmade leather items and jewelries made by students from home and abroad were displayed on five colorful carts.
With the opportunity of the moonlight economic construction, Jiangbei District will make good use of the consumption hotspots in cultural innovation and fashion leisure to build the Old Bund area as an "urban living room", "cultural saloon" and "fashionable business circle" with rich imagination, great attractiveness and unique cultural features. With the opening of the "World Street" in June, the area has accelerated its introduction of the high-scale, high-quality and high-end cultural and innovative industries and the construction of the fashion industry, to demonstration the fashion and innovative ideas of Ningbo. Meanwhile, to improve the business during the day, it has established such display platforms as the cultural evening market, the public welfare fair and the creative markets.  
Before long, the Baisha Wharf will be connected with the Old Bund block to realize the docking of the moonlight economy in the two places. Currently, the northward expansion project of the Old bund is under construction, which will be built as a "modern high-end business and cultural corridor" to provide broader space and stronger support for the development of the leisure culture and industry at the Old Bund area. Internet plus promotes new evening markets

How to promote the "consumption engine"? Ningbo finds the answer in a new style urban economy, that is, to develop the "moonlight economy" by means of such innovative elements as the modern services industry and internet plus. In the first half of the year, Ningbo witnessed a 42% growth of large-scale service industries, ranking No.1 in Zhejiang Province, with a total social consumption retail volume of 149.02 billion yuan, and an increase of over 30% in evening consumption. The "moonlight economy" has become a new engine for Ningbo's consumption growth. 
According to Yang Maoying, Deputy-director of Ningbo Commerce Commission and Director of Ningbo Moonlight Economy Office, since Ningbo launched the "moonlight economy" in 2014, it has bloomed. In the first half of the year, the total evening consumption exceeded 36 billion yuan, and the consumption increase of such major blocks as Tianyi Square and the Old Bund reached 40%. 
So far, Ningbo has formed a "moonlight economy" layout featuring the ten major evening market blocks including Tianyi Square shopping circle and the Old Bund area. All the blocks have actively developed their advantages based on their own resources. The Old Bund area has been built as the first national urban central leisure zone in Ningbo with the guidance of the government and the support of private investment. The Drum Tower area has focused on the block construction and cultural development, on the basis of such folk resources as the ancient opera stage, the ancient education office and the Yongfeng Storehouse. Xikou Town of Fenghua County has accelerated it tourism transformation and upgrading by means of capital introduction and cooperative development, and has attracted tourists with its new-style cottages and saloon cars. 
The catering industry and stores and supermarkets have also benefited from the evening market with the "internet + business blocks" model. The "wonderful Tianyi Square" net has such functions as membership services and shopping guide. The newly developed smart Wifi system can provide data analysis, locating and enterprise marketing functions besides the quality network service. 
So far, Ningbo has accumulatively invested over 20 million yuan in the landscape lighting of major blocks, and the Moonlight Economy Office has solved over 70 problems concerning block construction and project construction in cooperation with related departments.
