On August 20th, Ningbo Qianwan New Area signed a contract with Yongshang Industry and Yarong Venture Capital to jointly establish the Qianwan New Area Aerospace Industry Fund, with an investment of 1 billion yuan. The focus of investment mainly includes commercial aerospace, low altitude economy, high-end equipment and related industries, and a number of benchmark projects in the aerospace industry chain.
Anchoring the new track of the aerospace industry, Qianwan New Area is playing a big game. At the signing site, seven aerospace industry chain projects including Yaoguang Xingyan, Baicells, Guangzhou Starway Communication, and Zhongke Hangxin settled in the new area. Among them, as the main enterprise of the LEO satellite communication chain, the Yaoguangxingyan will establish a complete ground verification test system oriented to heaven and earth and integrated with the Internet through key technology research, equipment development, verification test, etc., to verify the Internet service capability oriented to end users.
In fact, in this game of chess, Qianwan New Area has already entered the game and taken the lead. On November 26, 2021, the construction of the Qianwan New Area General Aviation Airport began. Now, the construction of the general aviation airport project located on the northeast side of the Shi’ertang area is underway, and both the flight area and terminal area can be completed by the end of this year.
With the continuous implementation of benchmark projects and high-quality development of industrial chain enterprises, the aerospace industry in Qianwan New Area has moved from "entering the market" to "expanding the market", becoming an important driving force for cultivating new quality productivity.
As an enterprise engaged in research on integrated technology of aviation and aerospace equipment components, Zhongke Xianglong has emerged in the aerospace and additive manufacturing industries in less than three years since its establishment. Last year, the company undertook over 30 ongoing projects, including 18 new development projects; Its independently developed lightweight aircraft structure products for aerospace equipment have the third highest market share in the country and have been recognized by the Equipment Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the China Additive Manufacturing Industry Alliance; The Jiede Helicopter project, with a total investment of 5.2 billion yuan, is accelerating its construction. The project mainly engages in the sales, operation, assembly and manufacturing of complete helicopters, sales of aviation materials and component maintenance, independent research and development of components, and aircraft modification. It is committed to gradually realizing the localization and substitution of components in the field of helicopter parts assembly and functional modification.
As of now, Qianwan New Area has introduced a total of 19 aerospace industry projects with a total investment of nearly 10 billion yuan
