Haishu to be built as E-commerce talent factory

To address the problems of talent shortage, high mobility, and high rate of talent loss in E-commerce field, Haishu District has launched the E-commerce talent attraction project since 2014, to build it as a "E-commerce talent factory" and to promote the E-commerce industrial structure upgrading.
By cooperating with the E-commerce specialties and the online universities, the E-commerce enterprises and industrial parks in Haishu District have conducted the "order-style" and orientated talent training. With the professional services from special institutions and under the guidance of the district government, an investigation was made among the 695 registered E-commerce enterprises in the district to find out the demands for E-commerce talent training. Then such courses as art practice, marketing and promotion, cross-border E-business and corporate culture have been provided for the enterprises concerned.
Meanwhile, Haishu District has also conducted regular exchanges by organizing E-commerce development forum and E-commerce tribal salon, where business leaders, experts and technological talents were invited to discuss the current industrial conditions and the developing trends, to help the enterprise talents to broaden their horizon and improve their skills. Statistics show that since the beginning of this year, Haishu District has organized 14 sessions of training classes, benefiting 1016 people from enterprises concerned.
"The localized training can promote the stability of the staff team and strengthen their sense of belonging, which is beneficial for the E-commerce industry." said a person in charge from the Organizing Department of Haishu District Party Committee. There are now 695 registered E-commerce enterprises in the district, with a total register capital of 4.815 billion yuan. By the end of 2014, there had been over 10,000 people directly working in the E-commerce industry, and over 30,000 people involved indirectly.
