7th Chinese Filial Piety Festival to be held

The 7th Chinese Filial Piety Festival will be held in Jiangbei District in October, 2015. Recently, "looking for the characters with filial piety in Zhejiang Province", one of the major activities of the festival, has been officially launched.
It is reported that the selection activity aims to further promoting the filial piety culture, establish the new sense of filial piety, and find the proper role models for people. Under the guidance of Zhejiang Provincial Office of Civilization, the activity is sponsored by Zhejiang Provincial Office of Senior Citizens' Work, Zhejiang Daily Group, Zhejiang Provincial Association for the Aged, Zhejiang Provincial Aging Development Foundation and Zhejiang Institute of Social Culture, assisted by Jiangbei District Government, and hosted by Zhejiang Maturity.
This year's session of the selection activity has been the third time since 2010. As an important part of the construction of spiritual civilization in Zhejiang Province, this activity, with the theme of "setting up filial models and promoting modern filial piety", will find out the advanced models around the people and publicize their filial deeds.
