Ningbo-Hong Kong students exchange meeting held

The Ningbo-Hong Kong students exchange meeting was held on the morning of August 1. At the meeting, representatives from the educational departments of the two cities as well as representatives of students engaged in internship and training attended the meeting to exchange their ideas in learning and cooperation.
At the meeting, many exchange students shared their experience and ideas. A student graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic University shared with others his experience in Hong Kong. When he first arrived in Hong Kong as one of new students from the mainland China, some volunteers offered to teach them Cantonese and made them company during the traditional festivals. Some representatives mentioned such beneficial measures as convenience in borrowing materials in school libraries, 24-hour opening of libraries, and
sleeping bag service for staying-up students. A Hong Kong student studying in the University of Nottingham Ningbo expressed enthusiastically her feelings about Ningbo’s vitality and developing trend.
According to some personnel in charge from the educational departments of the two cities, the in-depth exchange may promote the mutual development of education and culture in both Ningbo and Hong Kong.
