Ningbo private enterprises export their products to 167 countries. According to statistics from Ningbo Customs, in the first three quarters this year, the exports by private enterprises of Ningbo value 25.7 billion US dollars, increased by 4.9% year on year, covering 55.5% of the total of exports of Ningbo, 2 points higher year on year. The exports to go 167 countries.
The statistics show that European Union is the biggest trade partner of Ningbo private enterprise. Owing to impact by the European debt crisis, in the first 9 months, the import and export trade to the EU values only 7.11 billion US dollars, reduced by 4.5% year on year. However, the export of Ningbo private enterprises to USA and ASEAN countries is on the rise, reaching 4.63 billion and 1.66 billion US dollars, increased by 17% and 23% respectively. The exported commodities are mainly electromechanical products, clothes, knitting wear, home appliances and Ningbo featured products
