First new materials fund set up in Ningbo

The Cybernaut-Yunsheng New Materials Venture Partnership Corporation, the first new materials fund in Ningbo, has been established recently. With a fund scale of 205 million yuan, it will leverage a total industrial capital of one to two billion yuan.
The fund, co-established by Ningbo Venture Investment Guidance Fund Co. Ltd., Yunsheng Group and some privately offered funds, will be operated in the form of government guidance, market-oriented operation and commissioned management. Based in Ningbo, the fund will invest in the high-tech startups, growing enterprises and expanding enterprises with the potential of becoming leading companies in the new materials field, and great focus will be put on the such strategic emerging industries encouraged by the central government as environmental protection, information technology, biological medicine and high-end intelligent manufacturing. According to Ye Juli, Co-manager of the fund, by giving full play to the capital's relay role, the fund will provide services for the enterprises’ financing, listing and merging & acquisition, to promote the transformation of the new materials and high-tech industry as well as the local economy.
