Ningbo turns over 1.78 billion dollars at Guangzhou Fair

On the fair, Ningbo turns over 1.78 billion US dollars, reduced by 7.6% year on year. Of the reduction, the turnover to the EU drops by 6.5%, to US by 7.3%, and to Japan 43.8%.

Famous enterprises turn over more than those non-famous ones. The turnover of daily necessities maintains steady and the long-term orders are more than the short-term ones.
The Canton Fair is praised as the barometer and the weather cock of the foreign trade of China. Persons related say that the market decline in 2012 indicates that the high increase foreign trade of China might not go on, due to the continuing decline of the global market demand, the continuing increase of cost in the industries for foreign trade and the constant rise of trade protectionism. In the coming three to five years, the growth rate of the foreign trade of China will be around 10%, or even around the single-digit level.
