The 15th China Hi-tech Fair opened in Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center from November 16 to 21. 3012 delegations, including 34 international ones from 29 countries and regions came to the fair. The number of visitors to the fair amounts to 541,000, and the area for the exhibition totals 115,000 square meters.
Senior officials of the central party committee, the central government and state ministerial departments were present at the opening ceremony of the fair.
For this fair, Ningbo sent 23 newest technologies and products of 16 enterprises in electronic information, biomedicine, optomechatronics, new energies and energy saving, and Ningbo was awarded the awards of excellent organizers and excellent display.
Mao Guanglie, Vice Governor of Zhejiang, and Zhou Guohui, Secretary of Party Leadership Group of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology, paid a visit to the exhibition stalls of Ningbo to learn about the enterprises and in particular, they interviewed Zhejiang Zhongxing Company about their technological innovation and independent intellectual property rights. They expressed their hope that through China Hi-tech Fair, the enterprises of Ningbo would display their products, international brand clothes, learn about the frontier technological development, strengthen cooperation and promote their innovative capacity.
