Debugging of the Second Phase of Ningbo North District Sewage Treatment Plant Conducted

As the Ningbo Municipal Government’s livelihood project, the second phase of Ningbo North District Sewage Treatment Plant was officially put into operation recently. The total investment of the project is 540 million yuan. The daily sewage treatment capacity is 100,000 tons and the daily renewable water production capacity is 60,000 tons.
“The first phase of Ningbo North District Sewage Treatment Plant also has a daily sewage treatment capacity of 100,000 tons. It has been operated for more than eight years since 2007. It is already at full operation.” said Shen Hao, the General Manager of Ningbo Water Supply Co., Ltd. “We need to enlarge its capacity.”
The second phase of Ningbo North District Sewage Treatment Plant began in the second half of 2013. Today, it not only achieves the daily sewage treatment capacity of 100,000 tons, but also becomes Ningbo’s first class sewage treatment plant. Its main service areas cover nearly 180 square kilometers, including Jiangbei District, Zhenhai District, Haishu District and the Higher Education Park, benefiting more than 400,000 citizens and  greatly improving the urban water resources environment and the energy saving and emission reduction capability.

Recently, 2015 Beautiful Countryside Construction and Development Forum was held in Beijing and awarded some districts and enterprises that made contributions in the construction of beautiful countryside, among which Yinzhou was awarded China’s Beautiful Countryside Demo Zone.
The forum was hosted by China Internet News Center on the subject of “developing, showcasing, approaching and building beautiful countryside”. Officials and experts from Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Environmental Protection and other departments were present at the forum as well as entrepreneurs and representatives from all over the country

Long run held to welcome the New Year

At 7 o’clock on the morning on January 1st, nearly 10 thousand people from 69 governmental departments and social groups of Ningbo gathered at the Ningbo International Conference and Exhibition Center for a long run to celebrate the New Year’s Day. City leaders Yu Hongyi, Weng Lumim, Zhang Minghua, Jiang Jianwei and so on, attended the opening ceremony. They trumpeted for the run, serving as the pacesetters. 
On the square, some programs were arranged, such as roller skating, body-building exercise, dances and so on, to warm up the long run. Those that would finish the 4 km run would be granted certifications by the organizer.
As a traditional activity to welcome the New Year, the New Year's Day Long Run of Ningbo has been held for 33 times, with the first session being held in 1984.

A Unified Housing Registration System to Be Put in Place

The registration of land, housing, forest and maritime area is a big focus. Ningbo Municipal Bureau of National Land and Resources issued The Regulation of Ningbo Real Estate Registration System on Dec. 17. Yinzhou Real Estate Registration Center was inaugurated, aiming to carry out registration work in Yinzhou District.
The unified real estate registration system will unify the real estate registration functions to provide the "process-coordinated" service for citizens.
Yinzhou Real Estate Registration Center was inaugurated on Dec. 16. The establishment of The Center will make it more convenient for citizens to have their properties registered and realize the "one-station" work style. Since Dec. 21, all the related matters can be solved in The Center and the citizens can also enjoy the "process-coordinated" service.
The existing property right certificates remain survive and will be replaced by newly-issued Property Right Certificate or Property Registration Certificate.
