Quality security traceability system for agricultural produce built in Ningbo

In 2015, Cixi County carried out the quality security traceability pilots in 32 agricultural production entities, including the Eastagri Poultry and Yongsen Vegetable Farm, requiring these entities to key in their basic data to the supervision and traceability platform, including the types of crops and agricultural events. Fenghua County invested over 3.5 million yuan in the construction of the agricultural produce quality inspection center and the fast examination offices for agricultural produce security in its 11 towns and streets. All the inspection data have then been shared in the inspection and examination system for food security, thus realizing the quality security traceability system of the agricultural produce. 
Statistics show that 877 large-scale agricultural production entities have been involved in the traceability platform in Zhejiang Province, accounting for 70% of all the large-scale entities. The inclusion of the data makes possible the realization of the quality security traceability of the agricultural produce

Turnover of new houses hit a high

t is learned from Ningbo Housing Trade Center that in December 2015 the turnover of new residential houses in the urban area of Ningbo reached 4302, an increase of 575 sets, hitting a record high in the second half of 2015.
The new housing projects for sale in the urban area stood at 21 in December, including 14 residential housing projects. Among the top ten with highest sales volumes, five projects are in Yinzhou District, two in the Dongqian Lake Resort area, and the other three in Jiangbei District, Zhenhai District and Jiangbei District respectively.

Ningbo to build 100 featured towns

According to the recently issued "on accelerating the planning and construction of featured towns in Ningbo", by 2018, Ningbo will make efforts to build 100 featured towns, including about 20 at the provincial level, about 35 at the municipal level and about 45 at the county (or district) level. Over 200 billion yuan will be invested in the construction of the featured towns at the provincial and municipal levels. 
The featured towns will focus on the development of such advantageous and emerging industries as intelligent manufacturing, high-end equipment manufacturing, energy saving and environmental protection, new materials, finance, information economy, tourism, health and fashion, as well as such classical industries as traditional craftsmanship, featured food and folk culture. In other words, the featured towns will center on the core industries, highlight the town characteristics, improve the industrial chain, establish the all-industrial chain coordination system and improve the industrial added value. 
In terms of the planning, the location of the featured town should be in line with the urban-rural planning. In principle, the towns should be separated from the urban and rural centers and can be linked with each other. The planned area of the provincial featured towns is about three square kilometers and that of the municipal ones is about two to three square kilometers, while the construction area is about one square kilometers. The featured towns at the provincial level should be built as 3A scenic areas and the tourist towns will be built as 5A scenic areas. The municipal featured towns are also encouraged to be built according to the standard. The towns will be upgraded as industrial agglomeration zones and functional zones. 
In terms of the investment scales, the featured towns at the municipal level will attract a fixed assets investment of about three billion yuan, and those featuring finance, information economy, tourism, fashion, and classical industries can have less investment. The investment in the provincial featured towns will be five billion yuan

Gulou Yan Historic Cultural Block is on the newly published list of the third batch of Zhejiang Provincial Characteristic Commercial Demonstration Street. By now, Ningbo has had five Provincial Characteristic Commercial Demonstration Streets.
