New dynamics added to Ningbo’s equipment manufacturing.

On January, 17, Ningbo C.S.I. Power & Machinery Group Co., Ltd signed a cooperative agreement with CSSC Marine Power Co., Ltd in Beijing, marking a substantive operating stage between Jiangbei District and CSSC Marine Power Co., Ltd for a joint construction of CSSC (Ningbo) Equipment Industrial Park and CSSC Marine Equipment Power Research Institute.
The total planning area of CSSC (Ningbo) Equipment Industrial Park is one square kilometer with the investment of over RMB ten billion yuan. It aims to transfer the industrial capacity from Shanghai-based CSSC to double the industrial output in three years and exceed more than RMB ten billion yuan of industrial output in the Park so as to promote Ningbo’s equipment manufacturing development.
As stipulated in the agreement, CSSC (Ningbo) Equipment Industrial Park will mainly work on the construction of the cooperative projects signed between CSSC Marine Power Co., Ltd and Ningbo C.S.I. Power & Machinery Group Co., Ltd, shield production center, production center for integrated power equipment, R&D and production center for high-power diesels including gear boxes and propellers. Meanwhile, CSSC Marine Power Co., Ltd will take active measures to attract upper-and downstream accessorial enterprises to make home in the industrial park.
CSSC Marine Equipment Power Research Institute will focus on the research and design as well as the industrialization of marine equipment to develop into a national research institute step by step, boosting development of marine equipment power technologies.
