Eight new “most beautiful school roads” built

A practical shelter corridor, a brightly colored ground, and a lively landscape sketch... At the entrance of Jiangdong Central Primary School (Zhongshan Campus) and Jiangdong Central Kindergarten (Zhongshan Campus) in Yinzhou District, a “most beautiful school road”
connecting the primary school and the kindergarten was unveiled on August 28.
With the total length of 140 meters, the road is mainly in yellow. The brightly colored ground and oversized promotional windows not only add fun to the school road, but also extend the campus culture.
“The rainbows, angels, and other patterns on this ‘most beautiful school road’ are all ideas from the children. Before the renovation, the government communicated with the kindergarten and listened to the children’s ideas patiently”, said Bao Songsheng, assistant principal of Jiangdong Central Kindergarten (Zhongshan Campus) in Yinzhou District.
For the new semester, Yinzhou District has launched eight new “most beautiful school roads”, including Zhonghe Central Kindergarten (Central campus), with a main color of yellow and green, and the theme of the kindergarten mascot “Lebao” running through the shelter corridor; Dongyu Kindergarten in Zhonghe Sub-district, , which features a “big windmill” design to attract children; Yinzhou District Experimental High School (Canghai Road Campus), with 15 courtyard lights along the road; Yongcheng Shijia Kindergarten in Shounan Sub-district, with the rainbow avenue depicting the evolution process from small saplings to towering trees; Bachelor Primary School in Shounan Sub-district, with orange as the main color, as well as the well-designed landscape sketches in the shape of small trains on both sides of the road.
“The new ‘most beautiful school roads’ not only may improve the problems of outdated facilities at the school entrance, rainwater accumulation, and insufficient lighting, but also may keep the children’s perspective and fully listen to their needs and ideas.” said a related person in charge from the Municipal Facilities Guarantee Center of the Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau of Yinzhou District
