Empty nesters pick waxberry in Dongqian Lake
On the morning of June 19th, about 40 empty-nesters from the nursing homes in Ningbo visited the waxberry base in Dongqian Lake where they will be close to nature and enjoy picking waxberry. Volunteers from three taxi companies offered free service for them.

Traditional Chinese Art Show Opened
Danqing Diandi, a Chinese painting show, was put on at the Jiangbei Cultural Center on June 10. Shown in the exhibition are some 60 traditional Chinese paintings by artists Ge Xiaohong and Shao Jiasheng, who are both teachers with Zhejiang Fashion Institute of Technology. The show is to last till June 30.
