Graduate job fair held in Jiangbei District

A job fair for university graduates was recently held in Rihu Suqare of Jiangbei District. Jointly organized by the Jiangbei's human resource sector and Baisha community, the job fair serves as a bridge between college graduates and local employers.
According to the organizers, the job fair attracted 102 employers, who offer over 1,500 jobs involving IT, electronics, communications, transportation, finance, and tourism. Among the 600 job seekers who attended the job fair, more than 272 reached intention agreement with employers.
Career advisers from Jiangbei Employment Services center are also invited to the job fair to offer college graduates on-site services including career consultation, business start-Up, and training program registration. They also gave away free leaflets on employment and entrepreneurship training programs. In addition, free shuttle service is available for students from Zhejiang University’s Ningbo Institute of Technology, Ningbo Wanli University, Ningbo City Vocational and Technical College, and Ningbo Dahongying Vocational Technical College.
According to an official from local personnel department, they had done plenty homework for the job fair. An employment research including in-demand jobs and featured employers was conducted before the job fair. Recruitment information posted on the QQ group of various human resources units were collected. In addition, they advertised the job fair through newspapers, television, Internet, text messaging and other media platforms.
