57 important activities of “Two fairs and One Expo” decided

On the morning of May 26th, a press conference was held in Hangzhou on the content, arrangements and progress of preparation of the 17th China Zhejiang Investment & Trade Symposium (ZJITS), the 14th China International Consumer Goods Fair (CICGF) and the first China-CEEC Investment and Trade Expo.  It is reported that altogether 57 events will be held, including 6 for ZJITS, namely “Zhijiang Summit”, “Gather Financial Strength to Service Zhejiang’s Economy” Summit Forum, the World Top 500 Multi-National Corporations Investment in Zhejiang Forum, 2015 Zhejiang International Technology Transfer Projects Meeting, Zhejiang overseas high-level personnel cooperation project negotiation activities and China (Ningbo)—Central Eastern Countries Tourism Cooperation Promotion Meeting.
Up to now, 32 contract projects of ZJITS have been confirmed at the Major Projects Signing Ceremony, with a total investment of $6.18 billion, mainly concentrated in high-end manufacturing industry, environmental protection, e-commerce, logistics, among which 23 are foreign ones, and the rest 9 are domestic. In addition, 14 contract projects concerning tourism have been determined with a total investment of 56.2billion yuan. 
The first China-CEE Expo will hold 18 events concerning investment negotiations, trade exhibitions, conference forums and cultural exchanges. 16 central-eastern European countries have signed up for the CEEC specialty products exhibition; exhibitors amount to nearly 200. The CEEC comprehensive pavilion is expected to attract 36 enterprises that will exhibit nearly 3000 covering 13 CEE countries. Poland and Croatia were announced as guests of honor of the Expo, during which a series of relevant activities will be held. Furthermore, June 9th is set for Poland Day and June 10th Croatia Day.
    Important guests from CEE countries have been invited. They include Montenegro’s Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism Department, Minister of Maritime Transportation Department, Deputy Prime Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia’s former President, Economy Minister and Vice Tourism Minister, Romania’s former President, former Prime Minister, Economy Minister, Bulgaria's Economy Minister, Deputy Secretary of State of Polish Ministry of economic affairs, First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, and a large number of Eastern European province (state) governors, mayors and diplomats.
 
   With a total exhibiting area of 100,000 square meters and altogether 4,000 exhibition booths( among which 2000 are there all year round), the 14th CICGF will be held in Pavilion No.2.3.4.5.6.7.8 and are divided into several sections: Sanitary Ware Section, Living Room Ware Section, Kitchenware Section, Imported Goods Section, Cross-border E-commerce Section and Foreign Trade Service Section. Pavilion No.8 is for foreign trade companies and Pavilion No.10 is for perennial display of imported goods. Up to now, nearly 90% of exhibitors have confirmed their attendance.
