It is known that the Grand Canal Catering League which was founded recently will hold Grand Canal Catering Culture Festival in 5 cities along the canal. At that time, people in Ningbo can taste all the delicious food without leaving home.
The Grand Canal was listed as the World Cultural Heritage in June 2014. As the application cities, Chairman of Catering Association in Beijing, Tianjin, Suzhou, Ningbo and Ji Ning recently proposed setting up the Grand Canal Catering League to promote the catering industry in these places.
The first festival will be held in Suzhou. As the liaison city, Ningbo will invite famous restaurants and chefs from Suzhou to present their innovated cooking skills and special dishes and snacks.
