Ningbo ranks among “Top Ten Most Attractive Cities” in the eyes of foreigners

It is learned from the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau that at the 2021 Eurasian Economic Forum held yesterday, the Ministry of Science and Technology released the 2020 "Charming China-The Most Attractive Chinese City in the Eyes of Foreign Talents", and Ningbo was included in the list, ranking 7 in all major cities across the country.
The cities selected in the "Top Ten List" are: Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Xi'an, Chengdu, Ningbo, Suzhou, Shenzhen, Qingdao. As the only "China Cities List" selected by foreign talents, it has held 11 sessions since 2010. The judges are Nobel Prize winners, Chinese Government Friendship Award-winning foreign experts and other foreigners living and working in China. The selection is closely related to the theme of "Opening and Talent Introduction". A total of 54 indicators were used for the vote, including the overall status of each city in attracting foreign talents, serving foreign talents, giving play to the role of foreign talents, “work convenience” and “life convenience” of foreign talents, social environment, mutual evaluation, urban outwardness and other five dimensions.
