Flight to Europe from Ningbo Airport put into service

On the midday of May 28, a giant Airbus A330－200 with 259 happy passengers is waiting to take off.
It is like a holiday for the airport as well as the passengers. It is the first European flight and the first trans-continental flight since the airport opened 30 years ago. The whole route will take more than 12 hours, the longest direct flight so far.
It is reported that during the pilot period, China Eastern Airlines has launched 8 flights to Rome and Frankfurt separately. So far, 90% of the seats have been reserved. Xu Feng, General Manager of Marketing of Zhejiang Branch said that they are considering opening regular trans-continental flights. This chartered flight is a prelude for the regular flight.
