Cixi Inspected National Civilized City Construction

On the morning of September 1, Hua Hong, member of the Standing Committee and propaganda minister of Cixi, gave an inspection to some construction sites, residential communities and parks in Cixi for the purpose of optimizing the environment of building a National Civilized City. Also present were officials from Cixi Civilization Office, Cixi Housing and Construction Bureau and some citizen representatives.
At 9am, the inspection team came to the construction site of temporary dwellings at Yueming Lake B#, Wangjiangyuan Community, Tianhe Community, construction site of Landscape Avenue, and Zhishan Cultural Park for inspection. At every site, Hua Hong enquired the basic information carefully and asked if they acted strictly according to the detailed standards of National Civilized City construction. Seen from the on-site inspection, the overall condition of every site was good. However, there were some problems. For example, some sites failed to have comprehensive knowledge of National Civilized City construction; some didn’t have strong atmosphere of National Civilized City construction; some lacked effective management.
Hua Hong pointed out that building a National Civilized City is a large engineer which needs full support from all sectors of the society. Every department should act strictly according to the detailed standards of National Civilized City construction. The construction sites should pay more attention to safety. Property management of residence should provide satisfactory service to residents. Cultural parks and squares should be more creative in propaganda in a civilized way, try to make people more civilized and lay a good mass foundation for National Civilized City construction
