China Opening Forum to open

China Opening Forum, the summit of forums on the opening of China, is to open on June 9 once again. The discussions of economists of new technologies might bring opportunities for enterprises in Zhejiang.

The forum is open for free to citizens and enterprises of Ningbo, who can enter their names atwww.chianopening-up.org.

The summit forum of application of distributed energy will open in Ningbo Pacific Grand Hotel on the afternoon of June 8. Experts and scholars from Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Academy of Engineering, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, China Association of Renewable Energies, China Electric Power Research Institute, Tsinghua University, GE and SDI will attend the forum, discussing on such topics as technology, policy and industry of distributed energy resources.

According to the Plan of Energies for the 12th Five-Year-Plan Period, Ningbo will take active measures to adjust and optimize the energy structure, promote the development and application of clean energies and renewable energies, and further promote energy saving, pollution reduction and environment protection. The targets are: by 2015, the consumption of coal shall drop from 66.8% in 2010 to 56.7%; the ratio of clean energies shall rise from 3.9% in 2010 to 15.7%.

The Organization Committee says that The application of distributed energy resources is of great importance for the construction of Ningbo into an international modern port city. The popularity of environmental friendly, cheaper, more energy saving energies will bring more opportunities to enterprises in Ningbo. The exiting smart energy management platform is capable of saving energies by 10%-15%. The construction of the distributed energy system is related to the fields of energy production, energy distribution, energy storage and energy transmission, which will in turn promote more new energy industries.
