Inspection on Laws and Regulations on Scientific and Technological Advancement in Beilun District

On the morning of August 11, the Law Enforcement and Inspection Team of the Beilun District Standing Committee of NPC listened to reports and conducted on-site inspections on Laws and Regulations on Scientific and Technological Advancement in Beilun District, including Law of the PRC on Progress of Science and Technology and the Promotion Regulations on Progress of Science and Technology of Ningbo. The inspection was overseen by some members of the Standing Committee of NPC.
Inspection team went to Ningbo Jessn Ocean Development Co., Ltd. and Ningbo WECO optoelectronic Co., Ltd. with in-depth inspection on workshops, research and development centers, progress of science and technology.
Wang Yinze said that since the promulgation of laws and regulations of progress on science and technology, Beilun District Government attaches great importance to and actively promote the implementation of government laws and regulations by taking the form of supervision by the law enforcement; meanwhile, emphasis shall be laid on promoting technological progress of enterprises and enhancing innovation capabilities. He said that it’s exciting to see the attraction of talents, school-enterprise cooperation, products development, machine as substitutions for people. Next step is to continue to focus on scientific and technological progress, master core technologies, and product development as the lead in the industry; companies are advised to speed up research and development, increase product range, expand business scope, and improve the comprehensive competitiveness of enterprises.
At the forum, the inspection team discussed with enterprise responsible persons on science and technology investment, ISO9001 quality management, ISO14001 environmental management, GB/T28001 occupational health and safety management system, and on how to secure market share and how to open up foreign markets and other issues.
