Hermes opens first store in Ningbo

Luxury goods specialist Hermes on Wednesday opened its first store in Ningbo, 23rd in China, starting to expand its market in Southeast China.
Chinese consumers tend to react to luxury goods in relatively rational way this year. Hermes chooses to enter Ningbo market in 2013 to demonstrate its upmost confidence in its market place and customers. With its 176-year history, the world renowned French brand entrusted the RDAI agency, the famous architect firm, to undertake the design and decoration of its Ningbo store. Compared to other stores on Heyi Road, the Hermes store has two tall, eye-catching facades, one facing Heyi road, another facing the hall of the shopping mall.
Different from the usual pattern, Hermes's Ningbo store houses men's apparel on the first floor and women's on the second, demonstrating a sense of masculinity on the first floor and giving a truly light-hearted feel to the second floor. The newly opened store features Hermes clothing, bags, leather goods, jewelry, watches, footwear, scarves and hats, even including its latest wallpaper collection.
