Entrepreneurs Association to be set up

Five enterprises in Ningbo University Science Park proposed to set up an association for all the entrepreneurs in the park a few days ago, which would inspire more innovative activities and benefit the sustainable development of the park.
Over the last a few years, the park has given priority to such leading industries as information industry, software design and animation production etc, featured as optimized overall structure, salient regional characteristics and prominent industrial advantages and so on. The park now has gathered more than 250 companies.
“There exists an urgent need for platforms to link the park, related offices and enterprises”, said the leading official of the administrative committee of the park. He also noted that enterprises were always daunted by such insufficiencies as in information, training, personnel as well as capital etc, and the set up of an association can help to address these problems by organizing training programs, recruitment fairs and pair-making meetings etc.
The park will divide companies into five types: culture and media type, information service type, creative designing type, energy-saving type and consultancy service type, according to which the association will deliver targeted services to each type, thus promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, the development of hi-tech companies, the training of innovative staff as well as the development of cultural innovative industry. All these steps will help to forge the park into a core gathering area for cultural innovative industries and a base for small and micro enterprises
