Business settlement brisk at Xiangshan-Bonded Zone Cooperative Area

Since it is approved by Ningbo Municipal Party Committee and Ningbo Municipal Government in December 2013, Ningbo Xiangshan-Bonded Zone Cooperative Area has witnessed smooth development, with the completion of the overall planning and the detailed planning of the start-up area, the launching of the infrastructure construction, and the business attraction work. So far, 38 projects on business and services have been introduced to the area, with a total registered capital volume of two billion yuan and a tax revenue of 40 million yuan.
With a planned area of 28 square kilometers, the cooperative area will be built as a new coastal “smart” town with optimized mechanism, outstanding industrial features, high production efficiency and beautiful environment based on the concept of industry-town integration. With regard to the industrial planning, the cooperative area will focus on the intelligent equipment manufacturing, information technology application, modern bio-medicine, cultural innovation and cross-strait trade. At present, the infrastructure construction work for the start-up zone of the area is well under way, including such projects as the field floor, roads and supporting facilities, with a total investment of one billion yuan.
The cooperative area has made great efforts to strengthen the business attraction with the focus on its industrial orientation and the five major fields of business. In the first quarter of this year, 11 projects have been introduced with a total tax revenue of 19.39 million yuan.
