The cultivation of famous brands in Ningbo has reaped a good harvest. 213 products were identified as 2104 Famous brands of Ningbo, including 103 new brands. The product structure of this year's famous brands has been further optimized. High-tech products and products with proprietary intellectual rights account for 61.4% of the total industrial famous brands.
In 2014, 265 products from 261 enterprises applied for "Famous brands of Ningbo", increasing by 18 over 2013. Among the 103 new famous brands, 84 are industrial products, 2 agricultural and 17 service sector. Most of the industrial brands from the traditional advantageous fields like petrochemical, automobile and auto parts, electric tools and electronic appliance; agricultural products are mainly from the rising field such as health and house furnishing. In order to adapt to the demand of industrial transformation and upgrading, the service sector is speeding up its application. Its application projects involve 14 trades, including logistics, labor dispatching, human resource, law service, auditing service, industrial design, tourism service, housekeeping service and cultural square.
