National Marine Biotechnology Seminar held in Ningbo

The opening ceremony of the "National Marine Biotechnology Seminar", sponsored by Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, and jointly hosted by Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security and the School of Marine Sciences of Ningbo University, was held in Ningbo World Hotel on September 27. Researcher Yan Xiaojun, Executive Director of the School of Marine Sciences of Ningbo University, presided over the opening ceremony and over 70 trainees across the country attended the ceremony.
In order to meet the needs of the development of marine economy, the seminar will focus on the integration and innovation of marine biotechnology. With the attention placed on the technological difficulties in the application of advanced technologies and industrialization demonstration, the seminar will analyze the international trend of the research and development of new products, and provide theoretical and technological guidance for the innovations of marine biotechnology.
