Ningbo to receive seven million tourists

It is learned from the Holiday Tourism Work Meeting of Ningbo held on September 23 that during the 2015 National Day holiday, Ningbo will witness another prosperous tourist market. It is estimated that the tourists to Ningbo will exceed seven million, setting a historical new high.
As is reported, the Romon U-park, one of the first major tourist projects, will be completed and open to public during the holiday. The special offers of the Tourism Festival have activated the neighboring tourist markets. During the National Day holiday, a variety of places will launch a series of village experience activities with distinctive features and strong interactive characteristics, and the scenic spots will cooperate with the surrounding agritainment and farmhouse projects to attract tourists with some special village festival activities. In addition, some new tourism patterns, including mountain climbing, food fairs, folk tours and moonlight tours, will witness an increasing number of citizens and tourists for participation.
Besides the village leisure tourism, self-driving tours will become a major way of traveling during the holiday. It is estimated that during the National Day holiday, the self-driving tourists will account for over 70% of the total, bringing about great pressure to freeways, roads leading to scenic areas and parking lots of scenic spots.
