Ningbo to develop more green space

To enhance the citizens' awareness for green space protection, Ningbo will develop about 2.8 million square meters of green space in 2015 and arrange 2532 trees for the citizens and organizations to adopt for protection, according to Ningbo Urban Management Bureau.
The green space mainly involves 123 pieces of lands, including 23 in Haishu District, 27 in Jiangdong District, 10 in Jiangbei District, 26 in Yinzhou District, 14 in Zhenhai District, 14 in Beilun District and 9 in the High-tech Zone. The trees for adoption are mainly planted in such places as the osmanthus forest of the Tianma Square, the north of Moon Lake Scenic Area, Minglou Park, the green space along the Changtang River, the ancient forest of Baisha Street, the memorial forest of Taoyuan Community, the green space along the river on the west of Tiantong Road, the east of Yinzhou Park, the green space along the Technology Road, and the Yinzhou Avenue.
