The German embassy had invited German nationals and friends of Germany to celebrate the German "Tag Der Deutschen Einheit" at the Intercontinental Hotel in Shanghai. This event is annually organized on the first Monday following the 3rd October.
It is always a good place to meet German governmental representatives and to mingle with new and old friends.
The food is good and plenty the bar is open and the music is swinging and jazzing through the evening.
