54,000 citizens in Ningbo become voluntary blood donors on regular basis

Voluntary blood donors deserve an assurance to protect them when accidents occur. Recently, the policy of “3 frees” has been firstly launched in Zhejiang Province in order to make voluntary blood donors in regular enjoy the convenience in return of their love from this month: free outpatient service, free tickets of parks, bus and subway. Such a policy of “one good turn deserves another” is showing the positive effect now. according to the statistics of Ningbo Blood Donation Office on October 14th, there are 2600 citizens voluntarily donate the blood on streets during the 13 days before October with a year-on-year growth of 4.1%. Meanwhile, we boast 54,000 regular voluntary blood donors in Ningbo which is becoming bigger and more stable.

Blood Donation Prize Winners Enjoy “Welfare”

Voluntary blood donors receive “welfare” for their contribution made to society. From October, over 50 donators in Fenghua who win national prizes of voluntary blood donation (8000 ml for a gold prize, 6000ml for a silver prize and 4000ml for a bronze prize) can visit parks and scenic spots sponsored by the government and take public transports for free. Besides they have already enjoyed free outpatient services in non-profitable hospitals before. 
There are 12 scenic spots and parks first open to these prize winners, where they can get free entrance tickets after registering in the respective ticket offices by showing certificates of blood donation prize and their ID cards. As for taking public transports, they can apply for special public transportation cards with the certificates in hand. 
In addition, these prize winners have been rewarded free outpatient services in non-profitable hospitals in Ningbo from August 13. They don’t have to pay for outpatient registration by showing the certificates and social security cards (or ID cards) in hospitals. But if they register online, the cards or certificate won’t work.

Traffic in Ningbo Railway Station reached historic high

On October 1st, the first day of the National Day Holiday, the traffic in Ningbo Railway Station amounted to a historic high 155,000. It is estimated that the total traveler flows during the holiday will reach 500,000. On September 30th, the passengers by buses in Ningbo Railway Station reached 70,000, increasing by 150% than regular days. The total buses on that day was 1900, increasing by 200.
Today, the traffic by railway will drop, but will still be very busy. Passengers had better book tickets in advance and get to the station by public transportation

“10,000 Cars Tour in Ningbo” Starts

On Oct.10th, the first group of 100 tourists arrived at Ningbo CITIC International Hotel, Dapengshan Hotel in Cixi and Ningbo Nanyuan Wulongtan Resort Hotel. They came for the activity of “10,000 Cars Tour in Ningbo”.
The activity is one of the social activities of Ningbo Tourism Festival. Road Trip Expert Committee of Yangtze River Delta together with dd885.com, Luchen International Travel Agency and Qunar.com have put on line the discount policy of 99 yuan per person at five-star hotels, especially for Yangtze River Delta road trip travelers, which has attracted 16 five-star hotels like Yuanzhou Hotel in Ningbo and 20 scenic spots like Tianxiayuyuan in Yuyao. The activity is said to lasts to Dec.31th.

Peak time in Lishe Airport

On the first day of National Day Holiday came the traffic peak in Lishe Airport. The number of travelers is estimated to be 3,800. The total number will reach 32,000 during the National Day Holiday. 
When you are going to travel abroad, you need to have your luggage checked in, get boarding pass, get frontier inspection, have security check and get through customs. Therefore, you’d better make sure the departure time of your flight and get ready for boarding in advance. There have been cases that passengers had to cancel their trip because of problems like visa. Therefore, there are three reminders:
1. Prepare the necessary entry and exit papers. Make sure both your visa and passport are valid. If you travel to the USA with passport of People’s Republic of China. The period of passport validity should be more than 6 months. Otherwise, you will be rejected. 
2. Tourists with E-visa should have the E-visa printed after the application finished. When you are about to exit, you have to show it together with your passport and boarding pass to the inspector. Otherwise, you will be rejected.
3. Group arrival visa is different from individual visa-free. For example, travel to Jeju Isand for Chinese citizens is visa free. But group arrival visa is required for travel to Seoul. If you travel alone, you need to get country entry visa.
