The German Chamber of Commerce in China | Shanghai and the Ningbo International Investment Promotion Bureau will organize the special event “Ningbo Sino-German Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing Forum” on 18th May 2017.
The Forum aims to give German companies the extraordinary opportunity to showcase their innovative technology regarding Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing as well as give German innovative technology suppliers and solution consultants a platform to position their products in the Chinese market.
In the form of case studies, companies will have the opportunity to show how efficiency and added value can be increased to the next industrial level and how industrial upgrading can be implemented in production and business processes.
During the afternoon networking sessions, German companies will be given the opportunity to connect with Chinese companies such as auto parts suppliers, electronic suppliers, discrete manufacturing and component manufacturing to further increase the Sino-German collaboration.

The 22nd Ningbo Sports Dance Championship was held at the Huamao Stadium on May 6, attracting over 1400 participants. As the largest ever in scale, this championship has the three groups of middle-aged and above, adult, and youth for different types of dances. It is worth noting that this is the first time for the college student teams to participate in such a contest, with the participants from Ningbo University of Technology and Ningbo No.2 Technician College.
The team of Ningbo University of Technology consists of Sun Aiqi, Ling Zihan and Yang Tianzhi, all being members of the Latin Dance Club of the university. "It is not until I entered the university that I began to know something about the sports dance. After two years' practice in the Latin Dance Club, I have benefited a lot in body shaping and it has also boosted my self-confidence." said Sun Aiqi
