Ala Music Festival kicks off at Ningbo Olympic Sports Center

On the evening of January 11, Ala Music Festival, a large-scale evening gala themed “Welcome to Ala Ningbo”, was hosted at Ningbo Olympic Sports Center to mark the coming of new year. This gala has introduced Ningbo to thousands of tourists and tour operators from Yangtze River Delta, shown the splendid culture and history of Ningbo, invited masters to give performance of top level, had all the audience sing My People，My Country in chorus, and turned out to be an audio and visual feast.

Hosted and sponsored by Ningbo, the local Ala Music Festival has become a brand of Ningbo City Fashion, Music and Culture.

The grand opening ceremony of the gala showed the essence of Ningbo tourism through 3D panorama with whole aerial shot, introducing Ningbo “a city of culture, a gateway to the world”. The performance of nine Fenghua cloth dragons and beauties in chirpaur achieved complementarity. The wonderful music of Cixi city art troupe transported us to ancient times. "Holding Hands for China Dream" calligraphy and painting exhibition held

The calligraphy and painting works exhibition with the theme of "Holding Hands for China Dream", in honor of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the new China as well as the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the multi-party cooperation and political consultation system under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, was launched at Ningbo Art Gallery on the afternoon of November 13.
The exhibition is sponsored by Zhejiang Provincial Committee of Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party and the the Xiling Calligraphy and Painting Exchange Center, and hosted by Ningbo Municipal Committee of Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party. 37 calligraphers or painters were organized to compose a number of calligraphy and painting works with the theme of "holding hands for China Dream" over the past year.
Over 70 are chosen from the submitted works, including Chinese paintings, oil paintings and calligraphy works. With the three chapters of "creating the great cause", "reform and opening-up" and "pursuing the dream", the exhibition aims to sing praises of the communist party, our country, the people, the heroes and the great time from a unique perspective, demonstrating the prosperous development of the Chinese society and the colorfulness of the people's life.

5th Celadon Culture Festival of Yue Kiln starts

The 5th Celadon Culture Festival of the Yue Kiln was kicked off in Cixi County on November 14. Just at the Shanglin Lake, celadon ware culture festival will begin in Cixi.On the forest lakeside, the Dragon Kiln produced the celadon (green porcelain) and the told the story of the olive-green porcelains, which have been popular over the past thousand years.
This year's festival will launch a series of theme activities, including the theatrical performance, exhibitions and displays, and the interactive experiences. The most noteworthy event is the "special exhibition of the olive-green porcelain", which will exhibit 117 exquisite porcelain pieces, including the olive-green porcelain unearthed in 1987 at the Famen Temple of Sha'anxi Province.

Korean tourist delegation visited Zhenhai

November 12 is the first day for the opening of the scheduled international flight between Ningbo and Seoul. At about10, after about two hours of flying, more than 100 passengers from South Korea arrived in Ningbo, and started their visit of Zhenhai District.
China and South Korea are neighbors, and Ningbo has a long history of relationship with South Korea. According to Zhenhai District Bureau of Culture, Radio, Movie, TV and Sports, Zhenhai area used to be a starting port of the Marine Silk Road during the Tang and Song Dynasties, and it has been the very place for the ambassadors and business ships to enter Ningbo from Korea, Japan and other southeast Asian countries since the Tang Dynasty. In 2018, Ningbo received 840,100 foreign tourists, and South Korea ranked No.3 among the top ten source countries of the tourists. A large number of South Korean tourists visited Ningbo and brought back with them beautiful "Ningbo impressions".
