With sonorous gongs and drums and melodious opera rhyme, along with the singing of classic operas on the stage, the finals of the "One Person One Art Cup" Ningbo 2nd Opera Competition was held at the Shaw Theater last night. In the amazing competition of 15 “famous amateur performers”, 3 of them got the highest score of 9.950. According to the rules of the game, Zhang Haiyan and Shi Yan won the gold medal. 5 contestants including Wang Chunfeng and Li Xinian won the silver medal, and 8 people including Zhao Xueping and Zhang Yutong won the bronze medal. The wonderful performance really thrilled the audience.
This Opera Competition kicked off in November last year. It lasted more than 4 months. More than 1,000 contestants from 10 districts and counties (cities) participated in the audition, including old people who were obsessed with opera, young children who were new to the stage, young people who likes traditions, and experienced award-winning performers.
