Urban Water Conference to be held

The 7th International Symposium of China Urban Water Development and New Technological Equipments Expo will be held from November 29 to December 1 in Ningbo. On November 26, Ningbo Urban Management Bureau held a news briefing to release the related plans of the conference.
It is reported that this year's session is jointly hosted by China Urban Studies Society, China Urban Water Association, Zhejiang Provincial Housing and Urban-rural Construction Department and Ningbo Municipal Government. With the theme of "to curb water pollution and to safeguard water safety", the conference attracted over 1500 related experts and scholars from home and abroad.
There will be a comprehensive forum and 17 sub-forums, focusing on the development and surveillance of urban water affairs, urban waters planning and landscape designing, water quality monitoring warnings and emergency technology, new technologies and applications of sewage treatment and water-supply piping network transformation and operation. Experts from home and abroad will also visit the achievements of Ningbo in water supplies, water eco-systems and water-saving and environmental protection.
