Ningbo ranks No.2 in tourist satisfaction of China

According to the website of National Tourism Administration, a census report of the tourist satisfaction of China made by China Tourism Research Institute shows that Ningbo ranks the 2nd in China in the tourist satisfaction in the first quarter this year, 2 positions higher that in 2013.

According to Dai Bin, Director of China Tourism Research Institute, the census covers such aspects as scenic spots, on-line booking service, environment, public service and reception facilities. The census shows that the frequent smog in the first quarter across the country has a decisive impact on the tourists in their choice of decisions and experience.

Drum Tower Teenager Post Office opens

On the morning of April 26, Ningbo Drum Tower Teenager Post Office, the first of its kind in Ningbo, was open to public in the franchise store of the CNPC located in the Garden Road. The commemorative envelope, post card and commemorative postmark were launched on the same day.

The teenager post office, with the director and all other staff being teenagers, mainly caters for the demands of teenagers. By providing such services as letter delivery, package mail and sales of philatelic items, the post office has the function of improving the interest and ability of teenagers. Since the 1980s, several dozens of such teenager post offices have been established, with those in Jiangsu Province and Zhejiang Province most flourishing.

The Headquarters of Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Europe opened Ningbo Southern Business District. On the afternoon of August 23, the opening ceremony for the Headquarters of Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Europe was held in Nanyuan Universe Deluxe Hotel, Ningbo. On the evening of April 23, Lu Ziyue, Vice Secretary of Ningbo Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Ningbo Municipality met with Zhu Yilong, Vice Chairman of Overseas Chinese Federation of China and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yin Di Group, Fu Xumin, Chairman of Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Europe and other delegates of the Chamber.

Michel, Mayor of Norfolk, Xu Guangren, Vice Director of the 3rd Department of the United Front Work Department, Xu Jianhua, Vice Director of the Committee of the Affairs of Overseas Chinese in Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan and Foreign Affairs of Zhejiang Provincial People's Political Consultative Conference, Chen Yijun, Member of the Standing Committee of Ningbo Municipal Party Committee, Vice Mayor of Ningbo and Secretary of Yinzhou District Party Committee, Wang Jianshe, Secretary General of Ningbo Municipal Government, and other provincial and municipal officials attended the opening ceremony.
