Consumer Goods Expo of Ningbo held in Moscow

The 2024 Ningbo (Russia) Home Furnishings Consumer Goods Expo opened in Moscow on May 13, local time.
This expo, jointly organized by Ningbo Municipal Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Bureau of Commerce, and the ITE Exhibition Group, is the largest overseas exhibition held by Ningbo over the past two years. The exhibition area is nearly 3,000 square meters, with 125 booths and nearly a hundred Ningbo enterprises participating. The exhibits cover nine types of specialty consumer goods, including household appliances, household items, stationery and gifts, daily articles and kitchenware, household textiles, baby toys, pet products, and sports and fitness products, totaling nearly 20,000 pieces.
It is a new attempt of Ningbo to host a consumer goods expo in Russia, as an important event for enterprises and business delegations to expand the overseas market and one of the “Ningbo going global” series of overseas exhibitions.
“This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia. We want to organize our own exhibitions to help Ningbo enterprises smoothly go global, expand markets, obtain orders, and achieve win-win cooperation. Starting from Russia, we aim to create an exclusive regional industrial international brand for Ningbo,” said a related person in charge from Ningbo Municipal Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
According to a head of a related business department of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, “Ningbo is the first city in the country to organize its own exhibitions in Russia. This is an effective exploration to enhance corporate confidence, seize opportunities for foreign trade development, and achieve stable economic quality and quantity against the complex and severe international situation."
