The Chinese Academy of Personnel Science and the Development Research Center of Ningbo Municipal People’s Government jointly released a report recently, saying the overall quality of Ningbo private entrepreneurs has made to the first ranks in China.
The statistics say that, there are 470,000 private market entities in Ningbo, 94.7% of the total market entities in Ningbo. There are about 120,000 private enterprises, contributing more than 80% of the economic growth. In the 2011 Chinese Private Enterprises Top 500, 20 were from Ningbo, about ten of which made to the Top 100.
The private entrepreneurs in Ningbo fall into four categories. Most of them have their own business. Those who enter the private business sector after leaving the state-owned enterprises have an easier access to bank resources. Entrepreneurs with experience abroad have a broad perspective and much greater potential to develop. And those who were once professional managers before are more skilled at management. The four categories of entrepreneurs have different backgrounds, ideas about management and goals.
A survey shows that Ningbo private enterprises have been persisting in developing their own businesses and emphasizing developing new products and brands. After year’s development, they have achieved well in the traditional industries such as fabric, clothes and machinery, in the port-based industries such as steel, electricity and paper-making, in the technological industry such as biomedicine. Ningbo has become the production bases of stationery, mold, plastic machinery, clothes and household appliances in China. All these are attributed to the fact that Ningbo private enterprises, while enjoying port resources, have seized the historic opportunity to develop the private economy.
225 Fenghua private enterprises became the biggest winners at The Second Talent, Sci-tech Innovation Week in Fenghua that was kicked off on Sept 22. The enterprises held talks with 43 overseas talents from European, American and Asian countries and 45 professionals from 25 Chinese universities and research institutions. They reached intentional agreements with them and signed seven technological projects, involving a contractual volume of 25 million Yuan. They also signed three startup projects, involving 411 million Yuan.
Three research centers, including the Fenghua Technology Transaction Center of CAS Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology & Engineering Chinese Academy were inaugurated on the very day.
Yang Liping, member of the standing committee of the municipal committee of the CPC and Shen Yinchu, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering attended the inauguration.
The Promotion Meeting of the Human Resource Service Industry in the Pan Yangtze River Delta was held in the fifth hall of the Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center on 22nd, September. Adecco Group, Randstad Group, Manpower Group, Career Builder, the biggest online recruitment companies in North America, and the Alliance, 51JOB and China HR.com, the top three Chinese recruitment companies attended the meeting.
One third of the 727 enterprises present at the Meeting needed the third party HR service products. So 180 HR organizations from the United States, France, Australia, the Pan Yangtze River Delta including Zhejiang, Shanghai, Jiangsu and Anhui provinces and organizations from Beijing, Chongqing, Guangdong and Shandong provinces were invited to the Meeting, which offered service products on HR outsourcing, executive search, talent recruitment, training, and so on
