First expert service center established in Ningbo

The comprehensive contract signing ceremony for the Expert Service Base of Ningbo (International) E-commerce Industrial Park was held at Haishu E-commerce Park on the morning of October 29. The new expert service center, jointly established by the Chinese Expert Technology & Economy Consultant Center and Haishu District Bureau of Human Resources & Social Security, becomes the first of its kind in Ningbo.
"In the past, our consultant experts were mainly at the provincial or municipal level. With the establishment of the center, we hope to break the geographical barriers. For example, we have invited Professor Wang Jicheng from the Development Research Center of the State Council to the center to provide consultancy and guidance for enterprises in need." said a person in charge from Haishu District Bureau of Human Resources & Social Security. Besides some experts from Beijing, 21 experts from Zhejiang University, the Materials Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Ningbo University have also signed contracts with the industrial park to serve as consultants and help e-commerce enterprises in Haishu District solve problems in their development.
"We will conduct regular inspections to enterprises concerned. If necessary, the enterprises can invite experts from the center for consultancy and guidance." said the same official. Upon learning the fact that FLD-TECH encountered a bottleneck in technological transformation, the center offered to help it contact experts from Zhejiang Business Technology Institute. So far, the Industrial Design Research Center of the institute has reached a preliminary agreement with FLD- TECH to carry out in-depth cooperation in the 3D reverse modeling technology and the 2D printing data recovery technology in designing products.
The agreement signing ceremony for institute-enterprise cooperation was also held on the morning of October 29. "We are glad to have such an opportunity. Many research projects from Ningbo University are in line with our needs and they have the talents we need. The cooperation with them can benefit us a lot." said Wu Jun, Executive Vice-president of Zhejiang World Brand & Technology Co. Ltd., upon signing the contract with the Information College of Ningbo University. The company has established an online B2B2C (brand to business to customers) platform and it has provided service for 130,000 enterprises since its establishment half a year ago. However, the shortage of software talents has become a bottleneck for the further development of the company. "Now, thanks to the cooperation agreement, we can have the professor team help us solve some software difficulties. It can also solve the problem of talent shortage by cultivating talented graduates catering for our needs."
