Talents and Science and Technology Week Saw Signing and Awarding Ceremony

On the morning of September 20, Ningbo, Zhejiang, China • Integrated Talents and Science and Technology Week saw the signing and awarding ceremony. Hu Heping, Liu Qi, Yao Zhiwen, and Yu Hongyi attended the ceremony.
Guests at the ceremony were Li Shuxing, the Vice President of Taiwan University, Sun Jun, an academician from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhu Yinghao, an academician from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, as well as Wang Xieqing, Wu Mingzhu, Lei Jilin, Zhou Xuhong, Li Jiancheng and so on.
Hu said in his address on behalf of the provincial Party Committee, Provincial Organization Department expressed warm congratulations on hosting Talents and Science and Technology Week and extended cordial greetings to talents from various circles. He said that the provincial government fully implements the spirit of the speech from General Secretary Xi Jinping on learning about human resources, increases efforts to create a favorable environment for entrepreneurial talents and innovation. At present, 939 experts have been listed on the province's a Thousand Talents Plan, 333 experts on Thousand Talents Plan. Currently, the construction of modern Zhejiang needs more talented people and teams. Therefore, Zhejiang will provide a better environment for the people in Zhejiang people start businesses and conduct innovation there. Talents are welcome to pursue their dreams in Zhejiang, and work to create a better future.
Yu Yihong hopes in her address that people of all walks of life will give attention to Ningbo, choose the city as their workplace, and finally settle down in Ningbo, where they can give full play to their talents and realize their ambitions so as to create greater value and splendor in their career.
At the ceremony, six scientific and technological cooperation institutions attract project signing, six Universities and Enterprises Talent Cooperation projects are signed, four projects of National Associations signed by Ningbo Service Station. 10 excellent talents are awarded. Prizes are awarded to winners of Overseas Business and Innovation Competition. Awarding ceremonies are given to 10 representative businesses and scientific and technological teams, 10 municipal skilled master offices, and 10 newly-built workstations for academicians. Job offers are given to 6 Ningbo Talent Ambassadors. Business and innovation teams and individuals of the 3315 Plan of Ningbo receive financial support.
The ceremony was attended by leaders from China Science and Technology Exchange Centre, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People’s Republic of China, China Association of Science and Technology, Cheng Yuechong, deputy director of Zhejiang Department of Science and Technology, Chen Zhong, deputy director of Zhejiang Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and municipal leaders such as Wang Jianbo, Yang Liping, Wen Lumin, Chen Zhongzhao, Chen Bingshui.
