9th Conference on Independent Innovation and Science and Technology Exchange and Cooperation Held in Cixi

The 9th Conference on Independent Innovation and Science and Technology Cooperation was held in Cixi, Zhejiang Province yesterday. Up to 200 latest research achievements from 10 colleges and institutes, including Zhejiang University and Harbin Institute of Technology, were exhibited in the conference, which attracted heads of 300 enterprises for consultation and negotiation.
In the conference, there were a great number of panels with illustrations and pictures on relevant research results, such as Automobile tail gas purification catalysts, nano-photocatalysis air cleaning device. Teachers from colleges and institutes had face-to-face talks with heads of enterprises on negotiation tables arranged by the organizing committee. This conference mainly involved high-tech fields of equipment manufacturing, new materials, new energies, electronic information, medical devices, smart appliances, electromechanical integration, etc.
A project named Ceramic Coating Technology and Equipment of MOA on Light Alloy was exhibited in the booth belonging to Ningbo Branch of China Academy of Weapons. Wu Weifeng from electric iron research centre of Zhuoli Electric Appliance Corporation, showed great interests in this project, he told the journalist, “An electric iron needs a plate of high hardness and resistance of high temperature. This project exactly meets the requirements of our product development.” Li Rui, a teacher from the academy, patiently introduced to Wu the technical characteristics of this project. They made an appointment of further understanding, negotiation, and they both were looking forward to cooperation.
Mr. Huang, from Huayu Electric Appliance Corporation, consulted Zhao Yun, from Zhejiang University, for relevant questions in front of the latter’s booth. He said, “We want to develop smart appliance system and realize auto-control of kitchen facilities. Do you have new research results in this field? ” Huang also introduced his ideas about new product development to Zhao. They had a discussion over intelligent control, and Zhao promised to bring Huang’s ideas back to his college and wished to make use of the advantages of colleges to develop new products.
It’s learned that enterprises and colleges have reached 36 cases of intentional cooperation. In addition, nearly 100 enterprises have invited experts to their companies for further negotiation and guidance.
