Top 100 Ningbo Brands 2013 released

According to the press conference of Ningbo Merchants Summit Forum 2013, in 2013, the total value of the top 100 brands of Ningbo reaches 308.2 billion yuan, 40.4 billion yuan more than the total of 267.8 billion yuan in 2012. Of the top 100, Youngor ranks the first for its value of 15.56 billion yuan.

On the list of the top 100 this year are 8 brands whose value each is above 10 billion yuan. These brands are: Youngor, Fotile, Port of Ningbo, Bank of Ningbo, Aux, Firs, Peacebird and Sacon. 2013 has 4 such 10-billion brands than in 2012. This year the threshold for the top 100 is 380 million yuan, 700,000 yuan more than the threshold in 2012. On the list of the top 100 are 19 new brands. In terms of geographical distribution, Yinzhou District has 22 10-billion brands, ranking the first. Haishu District and Beilun District have 20 and 12 respectively, ranking the 2nd and 3rd respectively.

The election of the Top 100 Ningbo Brands 2013 is jointly organized by Ningbo Merchants Development Research Association, the Research Group of Brand Strategy of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and China Market Association. Compared with the last year's list, the list of the top 100 is broader in scope, comprising those brands that concern people's livelihood: public service brands, business district brands and tourist brands. These brands include Hangzhou Bay Bridge, Ningbo Southern Business District, and Ancient Qiantong Town.
