Hi there fellow wine lovers.  Mark Fontana ex winemaker from Australia and  AE member with a love of wine has just recently attended the Spain top wine show in Shanghai where over 70 producers put on their best wines.  The wines were of the highest quality with the red wines, based on Tempranillo and Grenache being deeply colored, tasting of dark plum fruits and showing great power, structure, tannins and acid.  As a consequence Dani Rodrigues who distributes “Jumilla” Spanish wines in Ningbo has agreed to present some of his wines.  A tasting of 6 red wines and one sweet wine (And perhaps a white or two) will be put on at The Dublin Pub adjacent the Sheraton from 7pm to 9pm on Thursday 27th October.  Mark assures us that these wines are of high quality having tasted 3 of them.  There will be a cover charge of 50RMB per taster but this will be redeemable if you purchase some of the wines.  Danni will provide a significant discount to anyone who purchases any of these wines on the night.  Serious wines, serious discount, bring some money and grab a case!  Please contact Mark at This email address is being protected from spambots.
