Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa are hot destinations.
The period from December to the next February is said to be the perfect traveling season in the southern hemisphere. Australia is currently the hottest tourist destinations in the Southern Hemisphere. There will be non-stop charter flights from Beijing, Shanghai to Australia during the Spring Festival.
According to data released by www.tuniu.com, a major travel website in China, the number of tourists who booked the southern hemisphere routes soars recently. More local tourists have chosen the Australia –New Zealand routes, up 20 percent compared to the same period last year. the Daily average price of the Australia routes stood between 18,000 yuan to 20,000 yuan while the price for the Spring Festival tour hiked by 15 percent. In addition to the traditional Australia –New Zealand route and Great Barrier Reef route, a number of travel agencies launched a number of new routes for the coming Spring Festival to attract more tourists.
Routes to Middle East and Africa are also turning hot. A number of local travel agencies planed to launch a variety of winter tourism products. The booking rate for Spring Festival tour has increased by 30 percent.
